Financial Assistance Programs Guidelines & Application Information
Financial assistance is available to residents of Northampton, Florence and Leeds.
Scholarship Application form must be completed and turned in at the time of registration.
Each scholarship for summer camp MUST include a $25 per session deposit. The deposit needs to be received in order for the application to be reviewed. If you do not receive enough financial aid for you to attend as many weeks of camp as you would like we will refund your deposit.
Financial Assistance Application’s will not be accepted without the following:
Proof of Residency in the City of Northampton (examples: copy of a bill, driver’s license etc.)
A copy of the latest (most recent filing year) 1040 Federal Income Tax Form
Scholarship Application form filled out in full
A 50% deposit towards the program fee must be made when submitting the application.
If you don’t file taxes because you receive government benefits ex. SSI, or Disability, we will accept a copy of your benefit letter instead of the 1040 tax form.
Please be aware that the maximum scholarship amount awarded is 50% of the program fee. If you do not qualify for a 50% scholarship, you will be billed for the remaining balance.
Financial aid requests will be reviewed at least two weeks prior to the start of the program.
You will be notified if you are awarded a scholarship.
Payment Plans can be arranged with staff members to accommodate financial difficulties.
Not all requests for scholarship monies are possible as we receive a large number of scholarship applications.
