The Administration Division supports the common management and administrative activities necessary to make the Department of Public Works function as a cohesive organization.
This division is responsible for policy development, personnel and
fiscal administration, budgeting, public relations, responding to the
needs of Northampton residents (emergency response to roadway, water,
sewer, and drainage problems), creating reports and data analyses in
order to make more informed management decisions.
In addition, this division also provides essential services such as
purchasing, processing accounts payable, operating and capital
budgeting, personnel and payroll record keeping, processing of all water
and sewer utility bills, and issuance of permits for all divisions.
