Grant Programs Available to  Support Electric Vehicle Charging Stations


Landlords:        Attract tenants who drive an electric vehicle

Receive 60% of the cost of EV charging stations, up to $50,000 per street address through the MassDEP Multi-Unit Dwelling Charging Incentives program, which provides incentives for owners of multi-unit dwellings to acquire EV charging stations.

Applications for funding will be considered on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis until program funds are exhausted.

Businesses:     Attract customers who drive an electric vehicle

Receive 80% of the cost of EV charging station and installation costs up to $6,250 per port and $50,000 per street address through the MassDEP Public Access Charging Incentives program, which provides incentives to help property owners with publicly accessible parking acquire EV charging stations.

To be considered for funding, applications must be received by 5 PM on March 18, 2019.

Employers:       Support electric vehicle use at your workplace

Receive 60% of the cost of EV charging stations, up to $50,000 per street address through the MassEVIP Workplace Charging Incentives program, which provides incentives for employers to acquire Level 1 and Level 2 EV charging stations.

Applications for funding will be considered on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis until program funds are exhausted.
