Sustainable Northampton Comprehensive Plan
The Sustainable Northampton Comprehensive Plan has been adopted by the Planning Board, making it now Northampton's comprehensive plan.
We expect far more public outreach and involvement as plan implementation proceeds.

Sustainable Northampton Plan Public Hearing
The Planning Board held a formal public hearing in collaboration with the Sustainable Northampton Steering Committee and City Council on the draft Sustainable Northampton Plan on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 7:00pm in the Cafeteria at Bridge Street School. Cecil Group consultants held an informal Open House question and answer session on the draft plan from 6-7pm in the Bridge Street school cafeteria before the public hearing.
The public was encouraged to attend and submit oral or written comments. Written comments were submitted to the Planning Board until the close of business on Thursday, November 29, 2007.

The draft Goals & Objectives will be presented for public input on Monday, March 26, 2007 from 7-9pm in the Northampton High School Cafeteria, 380 Elm Street, Northampton.
Wednesday, April 11, 4-6pm Northampton High School Cafeteria Open House to review Draft Actions/Implementation
Wednesday, April 11, 7-9pm, Northampton High School Cafeteria - Formal Presentation and Discussion of Actions/Implementation.
Thursday, May 24, 7-9pm, Joint Steering Committee and Planning Board. Consultants will present the draft plan for public comment and discussion by Planning Board and Steering Committee.
Thursday, June 28, 7-9pm, Joint Steering Committee and Planning Board meeting working meeting on draft plan. Open to public.
Thursday, August 9, 7-9pm, Joint Planning Board and Steering Committee meeting to discuss Planning Board comments on draft plan. Open to the public.
