Senior Discounts

Comcast is offering a $2.00 discount off its monthly Standard service rate (Basic + Expanded Basic) to senior citizens age sixty-seven (67) or older, who are heads of households and are receiving SSI or Medicaid benefits under Social Security or Massachusetts Fuel Assistance. The subscriber must be able to show proof of age (drivers license, birth certificate, passport), head of household (lease, deed, tax bill), and receipt of benefits (Mass. Health Card).

The Senior Discount for qualifying subscribers will be available begining in October 2006. Applications for the discount can be obtained in October at the Comcast office in Northampton in located on Bradford Drive in Northampton.
