Absentee Ballots are now available in the City Clerk's Office for the State Primary to be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010.
If a voter is going to be absent from the city or during the hours the polls are open (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.) they may stop in the office of the city clerk to vote during office hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is Monday, September 13, 2010 at 12:00 noon.
The last day to register to vote for the State Primary, is August 25, 2010. The Registrar of Voters office will be open until 8:00 P.M. on August 25th, in Room 8 of City Hall.
August 25th is also the last day to make changes of name, address, or party enrollment to be in effect for the State Primary.
ALL VITAL RECORDS MUST BE REQUESTED IN ADVANCE. NO SAME DAY SERVICE.
TO HELP PREVENT IDENTITY THEFT, AS OF JANUARY 1, 2009, ALL VITAL RECORDS WILL BE ISSUED ON SECURITY PAPER.
SECURITY PAPER PREVENTS PHOTOCOPIES FROM BEING MADE.

The City Clerk's Office is responsible for conducting elections in accordance with federal, state and city ordinances.
