The volunteer COA Board works with the Director of the Council on Aging to advise and implement the programs and policies of the Department. Volunteers for the COA Board are recommended by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Visit the COA Board page for more information on their meetings and members.

The COA director is also the city's Americans with Disabilities Act coordinator. As such, she convenes the Committee on Disabilities.
