Green Community Designation

On May 10, 2010, Northampton submitted an application to Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources to be designated a Green Community under the State's Green Community Act. On June 11, 2010, the City received notice from the Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources that the City had been designated as a Green Community.
