Battle of the Seven Pines at Look Park
August 11th & 12th, 2012
COME AND ENJOY THIS SPECIAL CIVIL WAR EVENT!
The event is unique and the venue is perfect, two days of action packed scenarios, period displays, train robberies, skirmishes at a bridge, close order drill and a battle on a 15 acre field.
Saturday is a day of continuous activity on a regimental rotation with musketry fire every half hour.
The campsites are in shaded areas located within 150 yards of the Battlefield, firewood, running water public bathrooms and reenactor parking close to campsites.
Sunday Dress Parade to include a honorarium to Cpt. Russ Myette a long time member of both the 10th Massachusetts Infantry and 9th Massachusetts Light Artillery.
First Civil War event in Western Massachusetts in over a decade, this event will be both well publicized and promoted to get maximum exposure and spectator turnout.
