Transperformance 18: LETTERS & NUMBERS
Your support of this event will help keep the arts alive in the public schools and in the community. Each elementary school, J.F.K. Middle School and Northampton High School will receive funds raised from Transperformance. Last year’s benefit concert, Transperformance 17: In Living Color, provided $1,250 to each school. The money goes towards great projects. For instance, Bridge Street School used their share to support an in-school hands-on drumming residency by a Springfield-based musician and educator, Jo Sallins.
We also raised an additional $8,000 that was just recently distributed in our Spring Arts EZ round of grants to artists and art organizations in Northampton. Your donation helps us fund so many arts events in the Northampton community.
Admission: $8 adults /$5 seniors /$3 kids
