The Affordable Housing Trust oversees an Affordable Housing Fund to provide for the acquisition, renovation and construction of real property in Northampton for low and moderate income residents and to provide mechanisms to ensure such use, or to provide Northampton residents with loans or rental subsidies based on eligibility criteria. Members are apopinted by the Mayor and confirmed by the City council. They meet monthly.
