The Human Resources Department is charged with providing personnel and labor relations services to the Mayor, City Council, all City Departments, the School Department, Smith Vocational High School, City and School Retirees and in certain instances, Forbes and Lilly Libraries. Services include:
recruitment, hiring, salary administration, position control, benefit administration, employee training, collective bargaining, workers' compensation and I.O.D. claims management, media relations, unemployment administration and DOT/CDL testing administration.
