Saving energy is something we should think about every day, but especially during the coldest days of the year.
You can help reduce energy demand during the peak usage times of 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. by:
- Refraining from clothes washer / dryer and dishwasher use
- Turning off computers and other home electronics
- Turning off lights in unoccupied rooms
- Turning on outdoor lights only after 8:00 p.m
- Turning down thermostats one to three degrees
