Health Department Hours
The Health Department Self Serve Lobby is open 8:30 until 4:30 Monday thru Friday. Complaint forms and permit applications are available as well as a drop box for all correspondence. Please note - no cash may be placed into the dropbox.
Counter Assistance is available 10:00 until 2:00 Monday thru Friday and by appointment, 587-1214.

Sharps Collection Program

The Northampton Health Department now accepts sharps containers
Monday - Friday from 10 AM until 2 PM
There is a $5.00 - $10.00 (depending on size) disposal charge per container unless a Health Department prepaid container is used. These containers are available for sale at the Health Department.
$5.00 - small container
$8.00 - large container
This price includes the disposal charge.
