The Health Department and the Board of Health promote and protect the health and well being of the individual, family and community in the City of Northampton.
Northampton Health Department is helping track the flu through American Public Health Foundation's Flu Near You Challenge and needs your help. Sign up for Flu Near You using the graphic button above. You'll be asked to report your flu symptoms (or lack of them) each week. The information will be used to map flu cases in our community. Thanks for taking part and for supporting public health.
Health Department Hours
The Health Department Self Serve Lobby is open 8:30 until 4:30 Monday thru Friday. Complaint forms and permit applications are available as well as a drop box for all correspondence. Please note - no cash may be placed into the dropbox.
Counter Assistance is available 10:00 until 2:00 Monday thru Friday and by appointment, 587-1214.
