  • Open Seat on Board of Health
    The city is currently accepting applications to fill an open seat on the Northampton Board of Health. See duties and download an application. Get involved with your city's public health!

  • Board of Health Fee Change Proposal
    At the March 17th Board of Health meeting changes to the following fees will be discussed and voted on: septic permits and related fees, swimming pool permits and tobacco permits. A new fee for the inspection of Early Education Center's will also be discussed and voted on. Please see the attached document for details on the proposed changes. Comments can be emailed to bwood@northamptonma.gov or you can call 413-587-1214. Comments received up until March 17th will be provided to the Board members. Comments can also be given during the public comment period of the meeting. Public comment begins at 5:30pm. The meeting will be in the Hearing Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall.

  • Rabies Clinic Notice
    Saturday, March 27
    To protect your family and pets from rabies, please make sure that all of your pets have up-to-date rabies immunizations. See notice for details.

  • Draft Body Art Regulations
    The city regulations for body art practioners are being reviewed. See draft for proposed changes. Email the Health Department Director with any comments.
