Northampton License Commission

The License Commission is the local licensing authority for Annual, Seasonal and Short Term Liquor Licenses*, along with Entertainment Licenses for liquor licensed premises, automatic amusement device licenses, common victualler, innholder, lodging house and Car Dealer licenses.

The License Commission meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

*If your event is open to the public, whether you are charging for alcohol samples or not, you DO need a Short Term Liquor License.
