Pre-registration for attending clinic is required by November 9.
Call 587-1040, Mon.-Fri., 8:30am-4:30pm.

Date: Tuesday, November 13
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. (approx. end time)

100 Bridge Rd., Florence
(enter through rear of school near tennis courts)

II. Online Certification Clinic through NYSCA.
The Online Clinic option can be done from your home but needs to be completed by November 28, 2012. It consists of a couple of hours online, and you can work at your pace and your convenience. To register for the online clinic you must call Kathy at the Recreation Department, 587-1040, by November 15.

Once you have successfully completed the entire Clinic for your chosen sport, you will become an Initial Level member of the NYSCA. This membership is valid for one year from the date that you complete the clinic.

III. Continuing Education Program
A. Yearly Renewal: Shortly before your Initial Level membership is due to expire, you will receive a courtesy reminder notice from NYSCA. You need to sign it and drop it off at the Recreation Dept. to be added to our Continuing Education Program list. Northampton Recreation will pay the dues if you are coaching a Northampton Recreation Dept. program. Bring your renewal form to the Recreation Department, or call us and we’ll put you on our Continuing Education Program list.
B. Additional Sport: Certified in soccer, but want to coach another sport? For each sport you coach, you must view the Sport Specific video once, either by attending a clinic or through NYSCA online.

Over 400 Youth Sport Coaches in the City have successfully completed this training.
