The youth basketball league is an organized basketball program in which children are placed on teams in grade divisions and play a full schedule of games. Competitiveness is kept to a minimum while fundamentals, skill development, and sportsmanship are emphasized. Players will be contacted after the coaches meeting the last week in November about the first practice on December 4.
COACHES are needed. Volunteers interested in coaching may contact the Recreation Department. Training and certification through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association is provided.
