Join us for a Coaches Clinic to learn basketball skills and drills from Perry Messer, NHS Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, and players from the team. This hour long program will highlight techniques that you can use for your team practices. See for yourself how to set up basketball drills and also how to modify for the different age groups

Coaches Meeting for Recreation Dept. Hoop League

This is a mandatory coaches meeting for all coaches.

Date: Tuesday, November 29, 2011

Time:
Grades K, 1 & 2:5:15 p.m.
Grades 3 & 4: 5:45 p.m.
Grades 5 & 6: 6:15 p.m.
Where: Library at JFK Middle School, 100 Bridge Rd., Florence (enter through back doors, across from the tennis courts)

Team rosters, coach’s manuals, and player conduct forms will all be distributed at this time. We will also discuss the various league rules, and the league philosophy. If you are coaching more than one division, you only need to attend one of these times.

Come join the hundreds of volunteers in our Community who enjoy the hoop program! Volunteer coaches are needed. NYSCA training is required and provided.
Please indicate on your childs' registration form that you are interested in coaching. Kathy Weston, Recreation Supervisor, will then contact you with more details.
