Northampton Youth Soccer Assoc.

Grades 3-8

Registration DEADLINE: TBA, registration is on a space available basis thereafter.

The Northampton Youth Soccer Association (N.Y.S.A) is a separate league from the Recreation Department. A dedicated Board consisting of volunteers operates the league and the Recreation Department helps them with coordination.

The purpose of the Northampton Youth Soccer Association (N.Y.S.A.) is to enhance and promote the game of soccer for the City of Northampton by providing fall soccer leagues for boys and girls of all skill levels in grades 3-8.

The primary goal of N.Y.S.A is to promote soccer as an enjoyable activity while developing fundamental skills needed to play the game correctly. The 7/8 level is considered a feeder team to the H.S. J.V Soccer program, therefore the intensity is higher & a stronger focus is made on skills.
