Veteran's Day Parade
November 11, 11:00 am
Parade formation begins at 10:30 at Lampron Park, in front of Bridge Street School in Northampton. The parade will step off at 11:00. The route is down Bridge Street and up Main Street to Pulaski Park where this year’s ceremony will be held.
Our guest speaker is Ellenor Rennell, who entered service from Northampton and served on the East Coast during the Second World War. The parade is expected to last 45 minutes, the ceremony 30 minutes. This year, 34 individual organizations will be marching.
All veterans are invited to march. Uniforms are optional but encouraged, as are military ribbons and decorations. If you wish to march, please arrive at Lampron Park at 10:30 and report to a parade marshall (they will be wearing gold caps).
We look forward to seeing you there.

Camp Kieve Veterans' Camp
Veterans' Camp - For OIF & OEF (E8 and below) Vets and their families
Dear Veterans: We thank you for your service in a horrible environment by offering you and your family a stress-free week in our ideal environment. We want you to relax, refresh, and have fun with others like you. Eat good food, sleep like a baby, and build good memories. Enjoy a free choice of varying and fun activities.
There is no cost to you except your gas money and any travel expenses for you to arrive at our camp in mid-coast Maine [directions]. Our staff has plenty of experience and is eager to be with you and help you to enjoy and have fun.
Kieve has developed this opportunity for veterans in consultation with the military and its colleagues. This program is endorsed by Matt Flavin, President Obama’s advisor on veterans’ affairs.
Kieve is a non-profit founded in 1926 and is sponsoring this opportunity for veterans thanks to generous donations made by individuals who are deeply appreciative of our veterans.
