Northampton Girls Youth Lacrosse

Both new and experienced players can join us this spring for our Northampton Girls Youth Lacrosse program! Practices will be held 1-2 times a week and games and tournaments will be held throughout the season. Practices will focus on skill development and learning the rules of the sport. Games will be held in Northampton and at away sites in surrounding communities. The Rec Department does not provide transportation to and from away games. Participants will need to bring their own girls lacrosse stick, mouth guard and eye protection. Jerseys and other equipment will be provided. Click here to view the flyer.

For: Girls in Grades 3-8
Divisions: Bantam* - Grades 3&4 | Juniors - Grades 5&6 | Seniors* - Grades 7&8
*The Bantam & Seniors divisions are dependent on securing coaches. Please add your child to the waitlist if they are interested in playing this season. Full registration will open when a coach is secure for each division and priority will go to those on the waitlist.
All divisions are dependent on having enough participants registered to form a team - don't delay in registering as low numbers may result in the cancellation of the season.
Dates: April - mid-June 2023
Days: 1-2 practices a week and games; scrimmages and tournaments held throughout the season - weeknights & weekends (roughly 3 activities per week)
Locations: Ray Ellerbrook Field, Florence Rec Fields and Away Site Locations
Cost: $160.00 ($170.00 Non-Residents)

WE NEED BANTAM & SENIORS COACHES!

The Bantam and Seniors divisions seasons are dependent on securing coaches. If you or someone you know is interested in coaching this season, please indicate so when registering your child or contact Brooke at 413-587-1040 or bfairman@northamptonma.gov and include the interested coach's name, phone number and email address. Please note that knowledge of the sport is a must and previous coaching experience is preferred.
