NORTHAMPTON SENIOR SERVICES TRANSPORTATION PROGRAMS

Northampton Senior Services provides rides to residents aged 60+ within Northampton (including Florence and Leeds) 

Our services are a safe, inexpensive and convenient way to get around town!  

Application for Financial Aid

Financial Aid is available to Northampton Seniors age 60 years and over to participate in certain Northampton Senior Services & Wellness Programing.

TAXI SERVICE

Rides to medical appointments within Northampton (including Florence and Leeds) 

Runs 7 Days a week

Fare: $4.00 each way. Free for those who qualify*

Scheduling: We require 48 hours advance notice to arrange the ride. (you must be able to get in/out of the cab without assistance).

One of the Senior Services staff will call you back to confirm your ride!

VAN SHUTTLE SERVICE

This service is best suited for running errands, for grocery shopping and getting to the Senior Center 

Runs 5 Days a week, M-F,  7:30AM-3:30PM (operated by PVTA)

Fare: $1.00 each way,  Free for riders who qualify* 

Scheduling: Please leave a message at the senior transportation line at least one day prior

■ Advance bookings are required. Same day trips cannot be accommodated due to driver shortages. 
■ Ridership on the Senior Shuttle will be limited to 3 passengers per trip. 
■ Riders must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines while riding/boarding/exiting. 
■ Roundtrip service will be booked allowing riders 1 hour between drop off and return unless a longer period of time is requested. 
■ There is a three bag limit per rider for shopping trips.
