The Northampton Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) will conduct a housing inspection when it receives a complaint. Any violations will be cited in writing and given to the owner and/or occupant. DHHS witnesses percolation tests, reviews septic system plans, and verifies proper installation. Contact DHHS to file a complaint or request an inspection.
