Birth, Marriage & Death Records

Birth marriage and death records can be requested
in person, by mail, on-line or dropped in our drop off box outside City Hall front steps. We cannot offer same day service at this time. The cost is $15 per certified copy. Please note that certain vital records are restricted to only the parties listed on the record. To avoid delay in processing your request, please include a photo id of the person requesting the record.
When mailing, please remember to send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your form

If you call ahead we can prepare the record and put in our print queue. When you come in we will print the record. Acceptable payment for records picked up in our office are cash or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. If you don’t call ahead we can still fulfill your request; however, please note that records prior to 1970 do not qualify for same day service in some cases.
No requests will be honored without the request form, proper photo identification of the person requesting the record, and payment confirmation number from the Unipay Gold transaction.
Requests for certain certified records made via on-line payment system are limited to only parties named on the record or an attorney representing a named party on the record. All other requests, including genealogical records that require research, must be mailed and paid for as described above.
