Northampton Family Fourth Celebration

About the Event

Mark your calendars and join us for the 11th celebration of the Northampton Family Fourth event! Coordinated and run by a super dedicated group of volunteers, in partnership with the City of Northampton and Look Memorial Park, this event is one not to be missed!

Held at Look Memorial Park, this annual event attracts thousands to enjoy the Parks & Recreation Department bounce houses, carnival games and prizes, as well as games and wellness activities provided by other non-profits.

There is a variety of food available to purchase, and fun for everyone.

The stage is full of great music by the band DECADES beginning at 6 (see below), culminating with the Florence Community Band at dusk as the fireworks begin!

Event Details

All events will take place on the green at Look Park, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
There is no charge for entry to the event. Regular Look Park vehicle entry fees apply, and donations for the fireworks are welcome and needed!
Parking in Look Park fills early. See additional parking info on event website, link below.
There are games sponsored by Northampton Parks & Recreation Department.
- Bounce castle and slides, face painting, and games.
Fireworks happen at dusk.
Food trucks, food and drinks will be for sale at the event.
Check the Family Fourth website for parking details, when the park closes to traffic, donor opportunities, etc.

6:00pm - Decades - New England's premier oldies dance band!
Followed by
Approximately 8:00pm: Florence Community Band, playing our nation's favorites and leading us up to the fireworks display.
