Mayor Sciarra Releases Picture Main Street FAQs
NORTHAMPTON - After extensive community dialogue and thorough deliberation, the Mayor’s Office in coordination with Planning & Sustainability, is pleased to announce the release of a comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document for Picture Main Street. This document aims to address concerns, clear up any misconceptions, and provide accurate information to the public regarding this critical project.
The Picture Main Street project has been a subject of passionate discussion within our community. With varying viewpoints and some misinformation circulating, Mayor Sciarra recognizes the importance of transparency and ensuring that accurate information is readily available to all residents. “It is important that everyone understands what questions and issues have been raised, discussed, and vetted to get us to and through the 25% design phase of this project. Thus, we are making many of the most commonly repeated questions and their answers available to all,” shared Mayor Sciarra. “We are excited to be moving forward toward the detailed design phase, marking another milestone of this project for our community and our downtown, which is the 75% design.”
