The Housing Partnership, an eleven member mayoral appointed volunteer board created in 1991, is charged with identifying and addressing the City’s housing needs, particularly for households with low- and moderate-incomes. The Housing Partnership assists with efforts to preserve existing affordable housing stock and supports initiatives to create new housing opportunities. The Partnership is staffed by the Office of Planning & Sustainability
Commitment
Members are expected to review any materials, including the agenda, previous minutes, and supplementary documents before the meeting. For most meetings, this should not be more than 3-4 pages of reading. There are occasionally subcommittee meetings which will occur during non-regular meeting times. Subcommittee meetings are on a volunteer basis and not frequent, lasting about an hour.
