The Northampton Bikeway is now open for use!
Join the Friends of Northampton Trails, City of Northampton officials, and more to celebrate the reopening of the Northampton Bikeway on Monday, December 2nd at 7:30 a.m. at the trail entrance at State and Stoddard Streets (behind Stop & Shop).
Event Highlights:
- Ribbon-cutting ceremony, featuring Mayor Sciarra and other city officials, to mark the official reopening
- A bike bus, hosted by Northampton Cycling Club, from the event to JFK Middle School—everyone is welcome to join the ride!
- Light snacks hosted by Friends of Northampton Trails
Huge thanks to the Department of Conservation and Recreation for the generous $500K MassTrails grant funding that played a critical role in completing this project.
