Drinking Water Week is celebrated annually across the country during the first week of May. Each day this week, we’ll share a post about ways that the Northampton Department of Public Works (DPW) ensures that residents have reliable access to clean, safe drinking water.

The City of Northampton’s water system provides drinking water to households, businesses, schools and healthcare facilities across the City. Water is drawn from three reservoirs and two groundwater wells to meet the demand for reliable, safe drinking water. The maps below provide an overview of the City’s water infrastructure and highlights the extent of the City’s distribution system.
