This morning Engine 2 responded mutual aid to Williamsburg for a chimney fire with possible extension into the home. Engine 2 arrived at the scene and provided assistance to Williamsburg Fire Department. It was quickly determined that the fire was contained to the chimney and did not extend into the home. NFD Engine 2 was released shortly after the fire was under control and returned to Northampton.
