[ARCHIVED] Snow Emergency and parking ban has ended.

The City of Northampton has lifted its Snow Emergency and City wide parking ban, effective February 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM. 

Stay alert for a potential selective street parking ban for snow removal operations. If a selective street parking ban is declared, a separate warning will be issued. The City also posts all snow emergencies and parking ban updates to its Facebook (City of Northampton) and Twitter (@NorthamptonMA) accounts.

 Alerts are also prominently displayed on the www.northamptonma.gov website at the top of the page. Call the Snow Hotline at (413) 586-6969 to hear the latest parking information

City Ordinance 285-17 requires property owners to clear all sidewalks adjacent to their property within 24 hours after a snowstorm, including the curb cut to the street. Failure to do so may result in a $50 fine.
