City of Northampton Board of Health moves to close gyms, nail and hair salons and more;
NORTHAMPTON -- Effective Saturday, March 21, 12:01 am, all services offered to the public which cannot be provided at a distance of at least six (6) feet, particularly those services requiring direct contact with the customer, and those businesses that cannot be appropriately disinfected for safe operations are ordered to cease and desist. Such services and businesses include, but are not limited to:
- Hairdressers
- Nail salons
- Massage services
- Body Art
- Body Work
- Fitness Centers
- Spas
